I’m glad for the moment of relief. You are thinking smartly.
But, for the larger universe, do you really think print products are going to disappear? I imagine a place for a newspaper/magazine print product where design could be even more important. My work in Kings Beach just keeps reinforcing how little contact some people have with the online world. It’s not a natural place for some people to hang out. Yet the need for information, awareness, engagement, collaboration is higher than ever. If all the interesting, good stuff is online, and we leave the rest of the world to local TV news and the National Enquirer, it’s going to be an awful place to live.
